Do I Need a Store, Booth or Location to Sell Products?
Absolutely not! One of the greatest attributes of OccasionOgraphy is the flexibility it offers. While some consultants do have retail stores or operate booths at fairs, most do not. Some OccasionOgraphy consultants never leave their home, doing all their business over the Internet! No matter how you choose to operate your OccasionOgraphy business, the only “location” you need is a table on which to customize, print and assemble your products (and even that “location” can be folded up and stored in a closet!).

What Do I Need to Get Started?
In addition to the OccasionOgraphy Start-Up Kit, you will need:
A Personal Computer running Windows XP, Vista (32 or 64) or Windowns 7,8 or 10 with internet access (for updates)
A Laser Printer (available for $59 and up (b/w) or $149 and up (color))
Standard Glue Stick (to seal wrappers around the bars)
Standard Stapler (to close MyMintos and attach the mints)
Paper Cutter (available for $19 and up, although scissors will do the job)
What Kind of Printer Do I Need?
Printing on the premium quality, high-gloss wrapper paper, MyMintos cardstock, and SplashBand material provided by OccasionOgraphy requires a laser printer. Ink-jet printers will NOT work with our materials. Although initially cheaper to purchase, inkjet printers are slower, use far greater quantities of expensive ink cartridges, and in general produce lower quality graphics that will smear or run at the slightest dampness. The combination of laser printing with our commercially printed background designs creates a finished product of astonishing quality each and every time – a hallmark of our company.
Fortunately, laser printers have become very affordable in recent years. You can get by with black laser printers, starting at as little as $49. However, we strongly recommend color laser printers, which run $99 and up. A color laser printer will allow you to add custom color text, logos, and photographs to your OccasionOgraphy products.
Are OccasionOgraphy Products Seasonal?
OccasionOgraphy products are driven by events and occasions, some of which are seasonal, but most of which are not. While everybody celebrates major holidays and occasions such as Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day (two VERY BIG occasions for our dealers), the majority of occasions celebrated with OccasionOgraphy products are personal: birthdays, graduations, weddings, engagements, etc. which happen all throughout the year. When you also consider business use (promotions, grand openings, employee appreciation, etc.) and fundraising use (schools, churches, sports teams, local charities, etc.) you can see that the traditional ‘seasons’ that drive most businesses DO NOT drive the OccasionOgraphy business.
What Kind of Guarantee Do You Offer?
Simply stated, we offer the best, fairest, lowest risk and most generous guarantee available: If you are not satisfied with your OccasionOgraphy Start-Up Kit for any reason, return it to us within 30 days for a refund (minus a $75 restocking fee).
Since we want you to have fun and make money immediately, we only require that you return the CD-ROM, Operations Manual, Sample Folder, Consultant Bar, and any unused materials. We encourage you to distribute all the brochures and postcards, and to make up as many samples as possible using the materials provided.
Do You Offer a Trial Version?
At the current time, OccasionOgraphy does NOT offer a trial version. However, the purchase of the OccasionOgraphy Start-Up Kit is backed by our unconditional 30-day moneyback guarantee. Can You Ship Via Next Day Air?
Certainly. Our warehouse in Spring Hill, FL ships orders for Start-Up Kits and OccasionOgraphy supplies the SAME DAY they are received, Monday thru Friday via any one of several methods:

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
We accept payment for a Start-Up Kit or supplies using any traditional credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express). We also accept mail-in orders accompanied by a Money Order or Certified Bank Check. We do not accept personal or business checks.
Does OccasionOgraphy Come In Spanish? Or Other Languages?
Although neither the OccasionOgraphy software or training is printed in Spanish (or any other language), OccasionOgraphy is language-independent. The fact that we are in 21 countries is proof that you can create our products in any language. The software is icon-driven and intuitive. We have designed all of our backgrounds to omit any words so that they can be personalized in all languages.
How Does the OccasionOgraphy System Work?
In a single sentence, the OccasionOgraphy system uses professionally designed and commercially pre-printed materials, along with a PC-based software package, to create professional quality personalized candy bar wrappers, matchbook mint covers, bottled water labels and matching invitation/announcements by adding, aligning and printing ONLY the personalized content (names, dates, text and images) onto the pre-printed materials with a laser printer.
A Simple, Four Step Process
These four steps below illustrate how to personalized a candy bar using our system. The process is almost identical for each of OccasionOgraphy’s other products line (MyMintos mintbooks, SplashBands bottled water labels, and Angels on Occasion invitations/announcements), with minor variations.
Step 1: Using the OccasionOgraphy software, position the custom text and images where desired on the background design, and load the pre-printed wrappers into the laster printer (Note: orientation depends on specific printer). Once you are happy with the layout on the screen, print the custom text/images onto the wrappers.
Step 2: Cut each sheet (2 wrappers) in half to create 2 finished, perfectly-sized wrappers.
Step 3: Insert the candy bars (or whatever bar/candy you choose) into the custom foil pouches to create a professional look (Note: we offer foil pouches in 8 different colors!). Seal the pouch and you’re ready for the final step.
Step 4: Using an everyday glue stick, moisten one end of the wrapper and fold it around the foiled bar. Close and seal the flap and your personalized bar is complete!
Do I Have to Pay Sales Tax?
All Shipments outside of Florida are not subject to Florida Sales Tax.
We must collect and remit Florida Sales tax on all Start-Up Kit orders shipped to Florida customers. Shipments outside of Florida will not be charged Sales Tax.
For re-orders of materials and supplies, Florida residents can avoid paying sales tax on items purchased for resale by obtaining a Florida Resale Tax Certificate from the Florida Department of Revenue. You can register online in minutes at this website. In addition, this document outlines your Florida sales tax responsibilities. You must submit your certificate to us (fax, email or mail) before you can purchase without paying sales tax.
